Fall 2, November 2009, Available for Purchase!

Hooray for me!!  I finally finished the wood covered book I have been working on for two months; the secret, I discovered, is saying “screw it” to absolute perfectionism.  Hell, this is art, not engineering, right?  Anyway, this is a large artist journal with hand cut and carved wood covers, post bound with modified leather case binding, 45 sheets (90 pages): 20 linen textured ivory writing paper, 10 handmade paper (various types), 10 400 Series Strathmore drawing paper, and 5 Arches 140 lb cold press watercolor paper, leather reinforced hinge cover, copper closure attached with leather and small screws, painted with metallic acrylics, Jacquard Pearl Ex Pigments, and gloss varnish medium.  Leaf design original.  AND!!  Its for SALE!!  You can BUY IT!!  Considering how long it took to make (plus the materials), its a steal for a one of a kind piece of functional book art.  But then, there are those imperfections…  (hey, I disclosed all of them in the listing, okay?!  If it was perfect, it wouldn’t have been handmade!!)
